For over 30 years Sig-Nurture has provided an independent research service in nutrition science. Its founder, Sigrid Gibson, has published more than 90 scientific research papers and reviews , many of which which are highly cited and available for download on this website. In addition to providing a professional consultancy service for global food companies, Sigrid ‘s research publications include influential work with Dr Margaret Ashwell establishing the value of Waist-to-Height Ratio as a simple indicator of cardio-metabolic risk.
Sigrid has now made the decision to retire and spend more time with family and friends. She retains her Fellowship of the Association for Nutrition (with retired status) and is not taking on any more consulting work or peer review for journals.
